The 50 or 1600 Watt Worldwide Adaptor Kit contains everything you need to use most electrical appliances anywhere your world travels take you. It contains a combination 50 and 1600 watt converter for use with 110/120 volt electronic or motorized appliances (such as electric razors) rated up to 50 watts, or with 110/120 volt NON-ELECTRONIC heating appliances rated up to 1600 watts (such as hair dryers). Also included is a set of four international adaptor plugs (A, B, C and D) for foreign outlets. FAQs Will this work to plug in anything, anywhere in the world? Almost. There are a few limitations. First, this kit does not contain an E adaptor plug. The E is the world's least used plug. You'll find it only in parts of Africa, India, Hong Kong and just a few old buildings in Britain. Second, a few appliances, particularly hair dryers, are too powerful and will need a converter rated up to 2000 watts.

What else do I need to know?
We don't recommend that you use these with a laptop. You and your computer are much better off with the Eurosurge 240 volt surge protector and a grounded adaptor plug. This is also a short-term converter. If used near the top of it's wattage load it will run hot enough to shut itself down in anywhere from 20 to 40 minutes. No problem though. Simply unplug the converter and let it cool. It will reset itself and soon be ready to be plugged back in. How big is the travel case? The travel case measures 5.5 x 4.5 x 2.5 inches, and weighs 1.25 pounds. It is made from a rugged but lightweight PVC plastic.
